[Interested?] Sonata YF Pillar Pod

Post by Brandon@Importshark on 5/27/2011, 7:13 am

Who would like to see a pillar pod made? Would you like a single, double, or triple gauge pod made? Etc?

Trying to get a Korean company started on the process of developing one for this car, and part of the process is showing that there's enough interest in this product for it to be viable. We will do a group buy when/ if we can get one made.

Just an example of what I'm talking about, in case someone doesn't know:

Who's Interested:

Please list your name/ sn and then what type of pod you'd like to see made.
1. Brandon@Importshark [any]
2. Tap [single]
3. RobYork [double]
4. SS2.0t [single]
5. The_franchise [single]
6. Mike [YoshiFD3S] - Single, Double, AND Triple.
7. grajr1952 [double]
8. turbolager [single]
9. looking4you [single]
10. Slowturbo [double]
11. arodz_29 [single]
12. ltr [triple]

*Update* Product isn't finished yet, but we are looking for someone local (in the NYC area) to do test-fitting on. If you are interested please PM for more details.

would love a double or triple pod, a boost guage alone by itself is boring and i think over time as more stuff comes out ppl are going to want to upgrade anyways, the double just seems more convienent, if there is only one version going to be made

Do you want it to match the dashboard or just be the same color as the OEM pillar is?.

oem pillar, the dash would be cool but for a more factory look, a full set of pillars for the other pillars in the car would probably be necessary for those that like to keep clean looks

Thats exactly what i was thinking.

Same color as the OEM pillars. Single pod, and that would make the car look stock but we would be able to look at are boost.

To those of you who want a single, if this came out in double would you still buy it? Then you could do boost and A/F ratio. A/F is really good to have if you decide to tune your car (whenever a reflash comes out).

I would not buy a double. I would buy either a single or a triple. I want either just boost but if i am going to have more than one i will have a volt meter and an air fuel

I dnt think the real question here should be focused just on the type of pod, just because cost plays a huge part in it.
Brandon should chime in here and tell us roughly what a single might go for, i dnt see the point of a single but for a good enough price everyone might do it
