2012 Genesis Refresh

According to several different sources on the internet, the Gen Coupe will get engine upgrades for next model year. The turbo may get GDI and the V6 may get dropped in favor of a 5.0 V8. The interior/exterior will get a minor adjustment.

Thats a killer engine..If they drop that V8 in the Gen Coupe OMG OMG...lol

I didn't think Hyundai would sit around and let Ford's v6 mustang have just as much power as the v6 Geneis coupe. I hope Hyundai steps up and at least puts the 4.6 Tau v8 in there. It makes what 385hp?

Just got done reading the article about the 2012 Genesis and the 3.8 v6 now has GDI and 333hp!!! Upgrade it to 350hp and put that in the Genesis Coupe Hyundai!!! Are you listening?? LOL.

It seems like the 3.8 is the engine to get. I would be willing to bet that the performance is real close to the 4.6.

not sure if this has already been asked to death, but anyone hear anything about AWD for the genesis or other Sedan models?

I havent heard about an AWD. I've heard that for sure the v6 will have 333HP for next year due to direct injection.

Although there are many speculations 2012 GEN Coupe' will not be 5.0 powered
rumors are just rumors the 3.8L and 2.0L will get GDI tech and be flashed from factory output numbers are still hush hush.. but expect a 10-15hp increase of current numbers
